The TechnoCentre éolien, in collaboration with the ACCORD Wind Energy Cluster, is organizing a trade mission in the context of the Wind Energy Update O&M Summit which will take place in Dallas, Texas, from April 14-16, 2014.
This is the perfect opportunity for the players of the Quebec wind industry to meet with important wind project developers, turbine O&M providers in the United States, as well as their sub-contractors. The event provides a window into the trends and latest technologies in the field of turbine maintenance.
The United States operates the second largest wind turbine fleet in the world in terms of installed capacity, including 8.4 GW in Texas alone. By 2025, the size of the potential O&M market in the US is estimated to reach some $6 million a year, not to mention that 73% of the wind farms in the country will arrive at the end of their warranty period.
