FabDelta, a division of New Richmond-based Fabrication Delta, will undertake a project valued at $6.4M. Ottawa and Québec City are contributing a total of $3M. Amongst other things, the project calls for the expansion of an industrial building and the purchase of specialized equipment to construct 46 wind turbine hubs. The Gaspé-based company obtained a contract in the context of the construction of the 224 MW Nicolas-Riou project in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region pursuant to Hydro-Québec’s most recent wind power tender.
